Manilva - Malaga - Town Guide

Midway between Estepona and Gibraltar, Manilva is one of the up and coming areas of the Coast. With some of the best beaches in the area and all the leisure activities one could hope for, Manilva is now on everyone’s “must take a look” list.

Manilava Malaga

Looking for golf? Manliva has it. There are a couple of well established courses in the immediate area, notably La Duquesa, with a number of new courses within a few minutes drive including Doña Julia and the new Finca Cortesín – already being touted as a future championship venue. And because of its central position on the Western Costa del Sol, the courses at Sotogrande or Marbella are readily accessible.

Looking for watersports? Manilva has one of the coast’s prettiest marinas at La Duquesa. Bars and restaurants populate the port and sleek power boats glide in and out of the harbour as people enjoy water skiing, fishing or just a day out sunbathing on the deck.

Looking for good food? Again, Manilva comes up trumps. A tantalizing range of restaurants can be found in the port, as well as a wealth of fabulous beach bars or “chiringuitos” where you can feast on fried fish from the morning’s catch accompanied by a refreshing glass of local wine – Manilva is famous for it’s sweet sherry style wine.

Looking for property? One of the real advantages that Manilva offers is the range of properties available. There are apartments in Manilva right on the promenade and there are townhouses in Manilva on the golf course. Whatever you might be looking for you’ll find it here – and prices in the area are very competitive.

Connections to Manilva are excellent. Whether you choose to fly in to Málaga or Gibraltar there are motorway connections which make access simple. And, of course, you have the rest of the Costa del Sol on your doorstep with Marbella only 25 minutes away and Sotogrande a mere 10.

So wherever you may have thought you wanted to buy - make sure that you put Manilva on your very own “must take a look” list before you make a final decision.
