The New Golden Mile is the stretch between San Pedro in Marbella  and Estepona.

It is has evolved over the past couple of decades as a collection of purpose built urbanisations, restaurants and shopping precincts constructed with holiday makers or those simply looking to enjoy the good life in Spain.

The "golden" bit refers to the sand of which you are never further than five minutes from.
