Saborea Estepona 2026: Avocado and Bardo Win the XV Ruta de la Tapa

Estepona’s culinary scene continues to flourish. The XV Ruta de la Tapa “Saborea Estepona 2026” has announced its winners, with Avocado and Bardo Restaurante receiving the top distinctions in this year’s edition.

According to the official announcement from the Estepona Town Hall , the event formed part of the wider cultural programme “Estepona vive sus calles”, bringing residents and visitors together around one of the town’s most appreciated traditions: gastronomy.

The restaurant Avocado won first prize in the popular vote with its tapa “Sorpresa del Bosque”, selected by customers from among 46 participating proposals.

Meanwhile, Bardo Restaurante received first prize from the professional jury for its tapa “Cannolo de gamba esteponera en texturas”.

This year’s Ruta de la Tapa registered strong participation, with 46 establishments taking part and 10,000 tapas passports distributed among participants.

The initiative not only supports local restaurants and bars but also reinforces Estepona’s reputation as a destination with a dynamic and increasingly recognised culinary offering.
